TETRA'S POPULAR GUIDE TO TROPICAL CICHLIDS
David Sands, Dr Paul V Loiselle, Dr Wayne S leibel, 240 pages, hardcover
ORDER (English, hardcover) FROM
An excellent cichlid book (in fact the
best we have ever read) for both beginners and advanced hobbysts. With
a very precise language it covers all the aspects of succesful cichlid
keeping and breeding. Detailed explanations of common properties and aquarium
requirements of several fish groups like Malawi Cichlids, Tanganyika Cichlids,
Central American Cichlids, Apistogramma and Allies, Acaras etc. are very
informative. The species part includes a good selection of popular cichlids;
an average cichlid fan hardly needs another reference book, except, Discus
breeders may need a specialty book.
